These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of apps published by TapForged (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using any of our apps, you agree to these Terms.
1. App Usage
Our apps are provided for personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble our apps; use them unlawfully; attempt unauthorised access to our systems; or interfere with app operation.
2. Accounts and Authentication
Some apps offer features that require Apple or Google sign-in, such as cloud sync and sharing. Where accounts are used, you are responsible for maintaining account security and providing accurate information. Core features are available without accounts where indicated, with data stored locally on your device.
3. User Content
Some apps allow you to create and share content such as names, descriptions, and amounts within groups. You retain ownership of your content but grant TapForged a limited licence for storage, processing, and transmission as needed to provide the service. You agree not to add content that is illegal, harmful, infringing, misleading, or fraudulent.
4. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions
All purchases process through the Apple App Store. Where subscriptions are offered, they renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the billing period ends. You manage subscriptions through your Apple ID settings. Unused free trial portions are forfeited upon subscription purchase. Refunds are handled by Apple. Some apps offer one-time purchases instead of subscriptions — see the app-specific sections below.
5. Intellectual Property
TapForged owns all content, design, graphics, code, and materials in our apps, protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works without written permission.

7. Service Availability
Our apps and any cloud services aim for constant availability but are not guaranteed. Services may be suspended temporarily for maintenance, updates, or unforeseen circumstances, with reasonable advance notice when possible.
8. Warranty Disclaimer
Our apps are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. TapForged bears no responsibility for inaccuracies resulting from incorrect data entry or for disputes between users.
9. Limitation of Liability
TapForged is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Maximum aggregate liability equals amounts you have paid to us in the preceding 12 months or EUR 50, whichever is greater.
10. Termination
You may stop using our apps at any time and delete your account and data as described in our Privacy Policy. TapForged may suspend or terminate access without notice for violations of these Terms, harmful conduct, or legal requirements. Provisions on liability limitations and governing law survive termination.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by a revised date. Continued use of our apps constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the competent Dutch courts. EU consumers may use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr

App-Specific Terms
Fair
Fair is a bill-tracking and expense-sharing tool, not a financial advisor or payment processor. The app provides calculations based on data you enter — TapForged is not responsible for financial disputes between group members. Core features including unlimited expenses, groups, cloud sync, and group sharing are available free of charge. Paid subscriptions unlock additional features without artificial limits on core functionality.
Honest Cleaner
Honest Cleaner provides a free scan of your photo library to identify duplicates, screenshots, burst shots, and large videos. The ability to delete identified items requires a one-time in-app purchase — no subscription is involved. The app interacts only with your local photo library. Deleted items are moved to iOS Recently Deleted, where Apple retains them for 30 days before permanent removal. TapForged is not responsible for items that are permanently deleted after this recovery period.
